Here are the final results:
1st Place – Clean Collective
Community based food waste collection service. Focused on completing the local food cycle and working towards zero waste communities.
2nd Place – Project Stoke
Develop franchises producing high-efficiency stoves with backdoor biochar collection.
3rd Place – One World Blankets
One World Blankets’ mission is to spark an international revolution in children’s healthcare through sales of high quality baby products.
People’s Choice – Venue for consignment, fair trade goods and artist run creative courses
Remember that this is just the beginning of all of the great ideas and building a supportive community for social entrepreneurs in Calgary. Thrive Calgary is continuing to support this community with networking events throughout the year – there is already something planned for Dec 2nd!
